Tequeño Gourmet
The Tequeño or ‘Dedito de Queso’ is a very popular snack or appetizer in Latin countries such as Venezuela and Colombia. There is no authentic celebration or party without them; the larger version (6”) is consumed as a snack or breakfast. The tequeño is made with a wheat flour dough filled with white cheese. In South Florida, the tequeño has become one of the most consumed and appreciated Latin snacks during recent years.


Colombian Empanadas
The Empanada is a typical dish not only in Colombia, but in all of Latin America. What characterizes Colombian empanaditas is their dough, made of pure corn, and their filling of delicious meat with potato. The chicken and potato version and the cheese-only version have also become very popular in Miami, being products that cannot be missing in any cafeteria, bakery, convenience store, or restaurant throughout South Florida.
Traditional Pandebono
It is a type of bread originating from Colombia, made with cassava flour, cheese, and eggs. It is traditionally consumed warm for breakfast, snacks, or dinner.


Maiquezitos & Plantasitos
Cheese-filled rolls made with corn or plantain, ready to heat and delicious.
Cachitos
It is a small bread made of wheat flour, butter, egg, and milk; it comes filled with ham or cheese. It is believed to have European influence, and it is rolled similarly to a croissant. A very typical breakfast from Venezuela.
